Terms of Use
The rules that govern your use of this site.
By using this site, you agree to these terms. They're written plainly because they should actually be understood, not just clicked through.
The content
Everything published on The Analytic Post, articles, analysis, graphics, and original data compilations, is the intellectual property of The Analytic Post unless stated otherwise. You may share links freely. You may quote short passages for commentary, criticism, or educational purposes, provided you credit the source and link back to the original piece.
You may not reproduce full articles, republish our work on other sites, or pass it off as your own. You may not scrape the site to feed content into an AI training pipeline or any automated system without written permission.
If you want to republish something in full, for a classroom, a newsletter, a non-commercial project, just ask. We'll usually say yes.
Accuracy and corrections
We research carefully and fact-check before publishing. That said, we're not infallible. If you spot a factual error, contact us. We take corrections seriously, we publish them openly, and we don't quietly edit posts without noting the change.
Analysis and opinion pieces represent the views of the author at the time of writing. The world changes. A piece written in one political or economic context may read differently six months later. We'll update where it matters, but we won't scrub the archive to make old predictions look better than they were.
Nothing on this site constitutes professional legal, medical, financial, or scientific advice. We explain things clearly and we try to get them right, but if you're making a serious decision, consult someone qualified to advise you on your specific situation.
Your conduct
You're welcome here. Don't abuse it.
If we introduce comments, a forum, or any reader submission feature, content that is abusive, defamatory, deliberately misleading, or designed to harass will be removed. Repeat offenders will be blocked. We don't have a lengthy rulebook because the standard is simple: behave like someone who wants an honest conversation.
Don't attempt to probe, attack, or interfere with the site's infrastructure. Don't use automated tools to hammer the server. Don't try to inject anything into forms or query strings. We're a small publication, not a target.
External links
We link to source material regularly, it's part of how we work. Those links go to government databases, academic journals, news organisations, and official reports. We don't control what those sites do with your data once you land there, and linking to something doesn't mean we endorse everything else on that domain.
f a link has gone dead or now points somewhere unexpected, let us know.
Limitation of liability
We make every effort to keep the site available and the content accurate. But we can't guarantee uninterrupted access, and we accept no liability for decisions made based on information published here. The site is provided as-is.
Changes to These Terms
If we update these terms, we'll change the date at the top. Material changes will be noted in a site notice. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
